Police are investigating a stabbing on Peynier Street, Castries, on Monday morning.
Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) emergency personnel responded at 7:30 am after learning about the incident.
The responders from the SLFS Headquarters in Castries found a conscious male individual lying on his back.
An assessment revealed that he had a puncture wound to his upper right abdomen.
The SLFS responders provided emergency medical treatment and transported the patient to a medical facility for advanced care.
