A sixteen-year-old male sustained multiple lacerations due to a chopping incident on Saturday on the Allan Bousquet Highway.
The victim disclosed that an unknown assailant assaulted him.
The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) responded at about 9:58 pm after getting a call for help and found the teenager had sustained multiple lacerations to his upper body.
The victim was awaiting the arrival of the emergency crew.
He received emergency medical care from the SLFS responders before they transported him to a medical facility for further treatment.
Police are investigating the incident.
