Uber encouraged by ‘numerous’ local sign-ups

Just over a week after opening registration to licensed taxi drivers in Saint Lucia, Uber says early interest in the platform has been positive.In a follow-up to its December 16 announcement, the ride-hailing company told St. Lucia Times it has been encouraged by the response so far, with licensed taxi drivers and associations registering on the platform.
