Companies donate EC$100 000 to battered Carriacou

In a display of corporate solidarity, Ganzee Grenada’s joint shareholders have stepped up to support Grenada’s hurricane-ravaged island, Carriacou. Following Hurricane Beryl’s direct hit on July 1, legendary Barbadian retailer Cave Shepherd & Co. Ltd and Tourvest Holdings of South Africa have pledged EC$100 000 (about $74 000) towards relief and rebuilding efforts.The initiative, guided by Cave Shepherd director Lyden Ramdhanny  aims to provide crucial support to the Carriacou community in the wake of this natural disaster. The business leaders have chosen to channel the funds through the Rotary Club in Grenada to ensure that aid reaches those most in need. (PR)
