New mental health chatline to support youth

A new regional initiative is set to provide young people in Saint Lucia and across the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) with easier access to confidential mental health support. The OECS, in partnership with UNICEF, the University of the West Indies (UWI), the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and Zenith Centre, has launched the Young Caribbean Minds (YCM) Chatline, a free, anonymous, text-based mental health and child protection support service for children and young people.
