Eugene shines in Canadian cricket league

Johnnel Eugene has reminded local and regional selectors of his talent. The 27-year-old former West Indies youth batsman and Windward Islands Volcanoes player hit a century in Canada’s British Columbia Mainland Cricket League on Sunday and now leads the batting leaderboard.Eugene has accumulated 479 runs in 17 innings for the Windies Cricket Club in the league's Premier Division. The high-water mark of his campaign came this past weekend against Langley Titans I, where he hit 107 from 120 balls, with six fours and nine sixes.
