Nine finalists have been chosen to compete for the Calypso Monarch crown, which is currently held by Dezral, the 2025 Monarch.A panel of judges selected the nine during Sunday evening’s semifinals at the National Cultural Centre, Barnards’ Hill, Castries. Eighteen calypsonians performed at the event, which filled the venue inside, while others enjoyed the lively atmosphere outside and watched on a large screen.
