Police say they are investigating shooting incidents at lower La Pointe and Grande Riviere in Dennery, in which a six-year-old female and an adult male sustained gunshot injuries.
Details regarding the two incidents are sketchy.
However, according to investigators, at about 8:30 pm on Tuesday, officers responded to the report of the shooting involving the six-year-old.
At about 11 pm, police learned of another shooting, this time at Grande Riviere, Dennery.
A male adult sustained gunshot injuries due to that incident and was rushed to the hospital.
