2 Teenagers Among Males Charged In Charles Victor Murder – St. Lucia Times

On Sunday, January 28, 2024, the Vieux-Fort Police Station was alerted to a shooting at Westhall Group, Vieux-Fort.

The incident resulted in the death of eighteen-year-old (18) Charles Isiah Luke Victor, from Mon Repos, Micoud. The Major Crimes Unit of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force embarked on a thorough investigation into the matter.

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, various units of The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) engaged in a strategic operation.

The objective was to dismantle criminal networks operating in the southern part of the island and to tackle the surge in firearm-related violence.  A total of twelve (12) individuals were arrested for various serious offences during the said operation.

On Monday, February 19, 2024, the Major Crimes Unit officially brought charges against the following individuals, in connection with the death of Charles Victor:

Thirty-three-year-old (33) Mervin Flarvy alias “Cal Poto” was charged with the offences of Aiding and Abetting Murder and Discharging Firearm in a Public Place.
Thirty-three-year-old (33) Anistus Kerim McFarlane alias “Apasal” was charged with the offences of Aiding and Abetting Murder and Discharging Firearm in a Public Place.
Twenty-four-year-old (24) Dishon Austin alias “Chicken” was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.
Twenty-nine-year-old (29) Khalin Thomas alias “Track Pants” was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.
Twenty-year-old (20) Jessie Raymond was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.
A seventeen-year-old (17) male was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.
Nineteen-year-old (19) Ken Julien was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.
Twenty-one-year-old (21) Solomon Griffith was charged with the offences of Murder and three counts of Discharging Firearm with intent to commit Grievous Harm.

A total of twenty-eight (28) charges were preferred against the various defendants. They were escorted to the First District Court for bail and were all remanded to the Bordelais Correctional Facility.
