Following a post-mortem examination, police have confirmed the homicide of Jean Marie Tobolo Joseph, of La Tielle, Micoud on January 17, charging his son with murder.Officers attached to the Micoud Police Station responded to reports of a shooting at about 11:30 a.m. on January 17, 2026. Upon arrival at a residence in La Tielle, police discovered the lifeless body of Jean Marie Joseph.
