Seven women will compete for the title of Saint Lucia’s National Carnival Queen this year.

The 2025 contestants are Emerle Tisson – Choiseul; Shernia Phillip – Piaye; Kertrina Oculi – Mabouya Valley, Dennery; Kittle Symphorien – Soufriere; Hadassah Romulas – Lastic Hill, Castries; Ziggy Kenya Vitalis – Beausejour, Gros Islet; and Tatiana Clovis Freitas – Bois D’Orange, Gros Islet.

The Carnival Planning and Management Committee (CPMC), which announced the names, said they were selected through an audition process earlier this month.

According to organisers, the delegates will now go into training to prepare for the next phase of the competition—the sashing ceremony, where they will each be assigned a sponsor for the season.

In the lead-up to the pageant on Saturday, July 5, at the Pavilion in Rodney Bay, the delegates will also participate in a series of media appearances and public engagements.

The CPMC also announced the committee responsible for overseeing this year’s pageant. Trevor King will once again chair the team which also includes Patricia Calderon – Head Chaperone, Consuelo Dupal-Florent – Assistant Head Chaperone, Alanis Emmanuel – Social Media/PR Coordinator, and Dexter Phillips – Logistics & Production Coordinator.

Shan Lucien, the reigning Carnival Queen and Miss Jaycees Caribbean, will serve as the Committee Concierge Agent.
