The Honorary Consulate of Finland in Saint Lucia has officially reopened, marking a renewed chapter in the longstanding diplomatic relationship between the two countries.The occasion was commemorated with a cocktail reception last Friday, attended by government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, business leaders and invited guests. Hosted under the patronage of His Excellency Pertti Ikonen, Ambassador of Finland to the Caribbean, the ceremony saw businessman and Chief Executive Officer of the JQ Group of Companies, Gordon Charles, officially introduced as Finland's new Honorary Consul to Saint Lucia.
