The girls and boys of District 3 celebrated their 2025 Track Championships on Friday at the Mindoo Phillip Park. Ave Maria Girls Primary scored 218 points to win the girls, ahead of Bishop Charles Gachet RC Primary (168), a very spirited Bocage Primary (126), Ti Rocher Combined (111), Forestierre (47), and Tapion (21). St Aloysius RC Boys tallied 252, with BCG boys matching their girls on 168, Ti Rocher third in 123, Bocage fourth with 89, Forestierre fifth with 52, and Tapion 32.
In the Under-9 division, Carissa Noellien won gold in the 60m and 150m for Bocage Primary. Mia Ismael was victorious in the Under-11 600m, but had to settle for silver in the 300m, and bronze in the 60m.

Keisniah Amedee of Bocage got gold in the 80m and 150m, and bronze in the 300m. Neah Mortley of Ave Maria took gold in the 1000m and 600m for Under-13 girls. Completing a fine day for the Ismael family, Mia’s older sister Giselle won the 80m and 150m and captured silver in the 300m 13-plus girls for BCG.
Among the boys, student-athletes from RC Boys topped three of the four divisions. Ethan Paul mined gold in the Under-9 150m and held onto bronze in the 60m. Victor ludorum honours in the Under-11 class were shared. Jayden George got gold in the 60m and silver in the 150m, whilst Shane Odel got 150 gold and 60 silver. Asa Fulgence halted the RC Boys sweep, taking gold in the Under-11 80m and 150m for Ti Rocher Primary. Thomas Bailey of RC Boys ran 4:10.4 to edge Jeanai Leonce of Bocage for gold in the 1200m. Jady James of RC Biys was the 13-plus winner with gold medals in 80m, 150m, and 300m.
“It’s all about participation. All our students contributed with heart and guys,” read a statement from the District 3 sports committee. “Let’s celebrate them all. Now a team will be selected to represent District 3 at Interdistrict Sports.”
