The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) has appealed to the public for information as a probe continues into Thursday’s fatal chopping of a Vieux Fort resident.

Vieux Fort Criminal Investigations Department (CID) officers responded to the chopping report at about 11:20 am, finding 39-year-old Kervin Louis, alias ‘Colly Pool” in a pool of blood on Bridge Street, Vieux Fort.

Louis had sustained a laceration across the neck and chest and a medical doctor at the scene pronounced him dead.

The police have asked anyone with information regarding the incident to contact the Vieux Fort Police Station at 454-7135 or 285-2146.

Alternatively, they may provide anonymous tips by dialing 555 (the Crime Hotline) or utilising the RSLPF Crime Hotline Application, available in Google Play Store.
