Police Make Multiple Arrests, Lay Charges For Illegal Gun & Drugs

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted an operation within the Northern and Central Divisions.

The operation involved police officers attached to the Special Operations Team, Criminal Investigation Unit, Special Services Unit, Bicycle Patrol Unit, Marigot Bay, Anse La Raye and Canaries Police Stations, Traffic Enforcement Team and the K9-Unit. These ongoing operations are intended to dismantle criminal networks, thus addressing public safety issues on the island.

During the operation, officers executed six Warrants to Search for Property on the following locations;

The premises of Kerry Naitrum of Forestierre, Castries- one (1) .303 rifle was recovered. Following the recovery, Kerry Naitrum and Nicole Vincent were arrested and charged for Possession of Firearm.
The premises of Saric Leo alias Gwada of Corinth, Gros Islet- a quantity of cocaine was recovered. Saric Leo and Shaunika Charles were arrested and charged for Possession of Cocaine and Possession with Intent to Supply.
The premises of Lance Hollingseed, of Bisee, Castries- a quantity of cannabis resin was recovered. Following the recovery Lance Hollingseed was arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis Resin and Possession with Intent to Supply.

The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force continues to make significant strides in our fight to address violent crimes, particularly those involving the use of firearms.
