Man sought over social media video now charged

A 36-year-old man, who had been sought by police in connection with a series of alleged threats made in a video circulating on social media, has been arrested and charged with malicious communication.The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) said Clent Richardson, a Saint Lucian who was deported from the United States in March 2023, was arrested on Saturday, September 19, following an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the videos. He was subsequently charged on Monday, September 21, under the Computer Misuse Act with the offence of malicious communication.
