Press Release:- The Ministry of Commerce, Manufacturing, Business Development,
Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs will be hosting its annual Business Month 2021 under the theme, “Propelling Business Development Through Technology”.

Many micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Saint Lucia have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in reduced sales, loss of customers and business closures.

Notwithstanding, the pandemic has forced business owners to adopt more creative and innovative ICT tools and devices to facilitate business processes. As such, this year’s theme aims to focus on the importance of capacity building and the appreciation of technology to conduct e-commerce business transactions.

Saint Lucia Business Month will be delivered through a series of events in the form of entrepreneurial training workshops, interviews, and the 14th Annual Saint Lucia Taiwan Partnership Trade Show.
