Saint Lucian Johnson Charles is among the 15-man squad selected for the upcoming ICC T20 Men’s Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be played in India and Sri Lanka in February. The team, led by Barbadian skipper Shai Hope, will seek to break a ten year ICC tournament drought, having last held the title of T20 World Cup champions in 2016. It should be noted that this squad was selected before the West Indies’ recent series defeat to Afghanistan, as per ICC requirements, but has only now been announced.
