USA-based high jumper Jenneil Jacobie became just the seventh athlete to make the Saint Lucia Athletics Association qualifying standards for this summer's Commonwealth Games. The 21-year-old from Piat, Gros Islet, was the first field events competitor to make the grade, after clearing 1.87m to win her event on Friday, January 6, at the Charlie Thomas Invitational.
