GMC, Monchy claim Showcase football titles

GMC United and Monchy United emerged as champions Sunday night, clinching the Under-16 and Under-13 titles in the Gros Islet Football League Showcase Classic at the Francis Baba Lastic Grounds.GMC have been consistent in recent years at the junior and senior level. They won the last senior local club competition before the advent of the Semi-Professional Football League. And they’ve lifted age-group titles at the Guardsman and Bank of Saint Lucia/Lucelec competitions.
