Emergency Personnel Harassed, Verbally Abused At Scene Of Multiple-Vehicle Collision

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) has disclosed that some individuals harassed and verbally abused emergency personnel who responded on Friday morning to a report of a multiple-vehicle collision at Choc, Castries. ‘I need to take the opportunity to express our disappointment in the harassment and the abuse that the officers received from a select few of the motoring public. Officers were verbally harassed as they tried to secure and provide assistance to the patients on scene and provide a safe passage to allow the rest of commuters to traverse the road,’ Sub Officer Anwar Deterville said in a statement.
