Decomposing body found hanging in Augier

Police in southern Saint Lucia are investigating the death of a 34-year-old woman whose decomposed body was discovered in Augier, Vieux Fort.The Royal Saint Lucia Police Force reported that officers from the Criminal Investigations Department at Vieux Fort Police Station responded to a call at about 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026, in Pomme, Augier. They discovered the decomposed body of a woman hanging from a tree.
