Saint Lucian celebrity chef Nina Compton’s debut cookbook, 𝑲𝒘𝒆́𝒚𝒐̀𝒍 / 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒐𝒍𝒆: 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒔, 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒂 𝑺𝒕. 𝑳𝒖𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒇’𝒔 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚: 𝑨 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌, has been nominated for a major honour. The book is up for the 2026 James Beard Book Award in the US Foodways category.
