The CARICOM mission that observed Saint Lucia’s general election says “electors were able to exercise their franchise in a peaceful, orderly and transparent manner”. An official statement released on December 5 by the 11‑member mission cited positive takeaways from the voting process, including the timely opening of polling stations and the efficiency and professionalism of polling staff.
