Saint Lucian surfers endure tough time at World Juniors

Team Saint Lucia is having a tough time heading into the final day of the 2026 Surf City El Salvador ISA World Junior Surfing Championship. Still, the three surfers have gained invaluable experience in challenging conditions against some of the world's top young surfers.On Monday, the third day of the competition, the waves were strong again, with steady four- to six-foot swells at both Surf City locations, La Bocana and El Sunzal. Saint Lucia’s team is made up of 17-year-olds William Verity and Sebastian Ambler, and 15-year-old Daniel Ambler.
