Alfred out as teams named for Commonwealth, CAC Games

Olympic women’s 100m champion Julien Alfred will not compete at the Commonwealth Games, despite earlier reports suggesting she would return to the event where she won silver in Birmingham three years ago. The Saint Lucia Olympic Committee has announced a small team for the Games, which start in less than three weeks.The SLOC also revealed the team for the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games during a press conference on Wednesday, July 1.
