Repeated drug interceptions at the island’s formal ports of entry have increased scrutiny of post offices and courier services, which police describe as hotspots for drug trafficking.Assistant Superintendent of Police Shervon Matthieu, who heads the Gangs, Narcotics and Firearms Unit, made the disclosure in response to questions from St Lucia Times about a string of seizures linked to incoming and outgoing packages last year.
