SMC clocked 44.33 seconds in the opening round of the High School Boys' 4x100, Event 325, finishing ahead of eight American schools. Among more than 100 registered teams, the Saint Lucians had the 16th-fastest time. They were the seventh fastest international team in their section, with Jamaica's Cornwall College leading overall at 41.91.The nine fastest teams from Events 325-330 on Friday qualified for Saturday's Championship Final.
