Saint Lucian students return to class this week

Students across Saint Lucia return to classrooms this week after the Christmas break that closed the first academic term. Most schools wrapped up on December 11. According to the Ministry of Education, the new term officially begins on Tuesday, January 6. Principals, teachers, and ancillary staff, however, will report a day earlier – Monday, January 5 – to prepare and ensure a smooth start.
