Micoud North MP, Jeremiah Norbert recently delivered Christmas cheer to the children of his constituency during a festive celebration at the community playing field.
The event, filled with fun activities and entertainment, brought together parents, guardians, and residents in a display of unity and holiday spirit.
Speaking at the event, Norbert noted the significance of the annual celebration.
“This event is about much more than my role as an MP,” he said. “It’s about fostering a sense of community, showing humility, and fulfilling my social responsibility to the people of Micoud North.”
The initiative was well-received, with attendees praising the MP’s efforts to bring joy and a sense of togetherness to the community during the holiday season. The day’s activities were designed to ensure every child left with a smile, reinforcing the event’s message of care and compassion.
Norbert took the opportunity to outline his vision for the constituency in the coming year.
“As we move into 2025, my focus remains on improving the lives of everyone in Micoud North,” he stated. “We are working on plans to enhance community infrastructure, create opportunities for our youth, and strengthen programmes that support families and businesses in the constituency.”
