On Sunday, November 3, 2024 about 10: 19a.m, Police Officers attached to the Soufriere Police Station responded to an assault at Darnley Alexander Street, Soufriere.
Initial reports indicated that one male victim was attended to by personnel of the Saint Lucia Fire Service. He was later conveyed to the Soufriere Hospital via ambulance. Despite medical interventions, he succumbed.
The deceased has been identified as seventy-six (76) year old Dunstan Butcher alias Jahrock of Bouton, Soufriere.
During the conduct of investigations, one suspect has been formally interviewed by officers.
