Food Center Saint Lucia Ltd the official distributors of Kotex products in Saint Lucia, proudly announced its collaboration with Anse La Raye Primary School and Patricia D. James Secondary School in an initiative aimed at promoting hygiene awareness among students.

On October 28, representatives from Food Center Distributors made informative presentations at both schools, distributing Kotex Teen Pads, Napkins and Hand Sanitizer products in support of Hygiene Awareness Month, which runs from November 1st to December 1st, 2024.

The initiative is designed to educate students about personal hygiene, menstrual health, and the importance of proper hygiene practices.

Brand Manager D’ Anthony Charles emphasized the company’s commitment to health education. “Our goal is to empower young people with knowledge and resources that will help them manage their hygiene with confidence. By collaborating with local schools, we aim to foster an environment where students feel comfortable discussing these essential topics.”

Throughout Hygiene Awareness Month, both schools will host a series of engaging talks and interactive activities focusing on hygiene practices. These events will encourage open conversations about personal health and hygiene, aiming to destigmatize the challenges many young people face.

“This partnership highlights the importance of hygiene education and its role in the overall well-being of our students,” said the principal of Anse La Raye Primary School. “We are grateful for the support of Food Center Distributors and look forward to a productive month of learning.”

Patricia D. James Secondary School is also enthusiastic about the initiative. The school’s representatives remarked, “Hygiene is a vital part of health education. We’re excited to engage our students in meaningful discussions and activities that promote their well-being.”

Food Center Distributors is dedicated to supporting community health and education initiatives. This partnership marks just the beginning of their efforts to inspire a generation of health-conscious individuals in Saint Lucia.
