The Taiwan Embassy in Saint Lucia is accepting applications for the 2025 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship and the 2025 Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) Scholarships.

The two programmes allow Saint Lucian students to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral Degrees at prestigious universities in Taiwan.

The ICDF programme is accepting applications until Friday March 14, 2025.

“This prestigious scholarship offers St. Lucian students the opportunity to pursue Master’s or Doctoral Degrees across 29 study programs at 19 partner universities in Taiwan,” the Embassy of Saint Lucia In Taiwan disclosed.

The scholarship covers round-trip airfare, accommodation, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs, and a monthly allowance.

The online application for the 2025 MOFA Taiwan Scholarship for Undergraduate, Master’s, or Doctoral Degrees will start on February 1, 2025.

In the coming weeks, the Taiwanese Embassy and Saint Lucia’s Education Ministry will hold a joint briefing, announce details on their websites, and interview qualified applicants at the end of March 2025 after notifying them via email or telephone.

The Taiwan Embassy expects to announce scholarship awards on its website before June, 2025.

Interested individuals may apply online at the official Taiwan ICDF portal:https://www.icdf.org.tw/wSite/np?ctNode=31561&mp=2

Last year, thirty-five Saint Lucians received scholarships to study in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

The scholarship programme was established in 2007.
